Warmbad Spa

The spa town of Warmbad, part of the mountain town of Wolkenstein, welcomes you in a scenic location in the heart of the Central Ore Mountains. Since the discovery of the Warmbad spring in the 14th century, the town can look back on an eventful history.

History

The thermal spring of Warmbad near Wolkenstein was discovered in the Middle Ages, probably during mining excavations. Since then, the town has seen many changes.

Thermal spring

At 26.5°C, the Warmbad spring is the warmest in Saxony and is used in the Silber-Therme to treat the musculoskeletal system as well as cardiovascular diseases.
